I was asked to submit a song for the show and I jumped at the chance...I am the world’s biggest Bravo fan so it was a little intimidating. I had heard of the show for a while through my agent Tony Selznick at MSA...he reps a lot of the judges and guest choreographers.

I started my career in the clubs in NYC so I have spent my life around dancers... their grit and determination is admirable. I wanted to write a song that was a theme for dancers but really it’s for anyone who is brave enough to follow their dream. I wrote and produced the song with Marcus Brown. He spent 6 years as Madonna’s keyboard player so he has been at the cutting edge of dance and pop music for years. I was lucky enough to record my first record with him SOULfILLAPOPKILLA now available on iTunes (shameless plug!) so dance and music are all connecting for me right now.

The other day I was in the Coffee Bean and asked the girl if she watched the show... She said yeah and I told her I wrote and sang the theme... She didn't believe me so I started sing it out loud... If I get free coffee for a year I’ll be more than happy!
